I'm still alive - just busy.

I know it's been forever since we've posted here, but life has just been generally busy. After a nice summer full of visits and summercamp, Alexander is now settled in school, and he's learning about falling leaves and doing crafts with the best of them. Thanksgiving was very nice - we had a big turkey and a nice visit with Wayne's mom and Doug, and now we are getting ready for Halloween - I am desperately trying to find a costume, since they all seem to be sold out by now.

The biggest excitement of the last few weeks is probably that Alexander went on a schoolbus for the first time (fieldtrip). Isnt he cute in the picture?

Well, that's it for now!

Our Little Boy is in Pre-School!

After weeks of strep throat, antibiotics and no blogging, I am back to trying to update you - our family and friends - about day to day stuff with Alexander. He started Pre school this week, and was a little hesitant the first day. By the second time there, he was happy to put away his lunch bag and sit on the letter carpet to read a book, so my guess is that he will grow to love it. His teacher is wonderful, and her assistant sweet, so I know he will be well taken care of.

Alex's new little table!

Alexander got a little table and a couple of chairs, and I think it is so cute (and useful) how he uses it for his crafts, and sometimes lunch. Just wanted to show it, since I think the picture is cute!

Monster Weather

Today we had the biggest hailstorm I have ever seen. The hail was the size of large marbles, and there was a LOT of it!! Alexander was amazed at the "ice from the clouds in the sky" and the river in our parking lot, and he was worried about our car being "in the river". Of course now - just an hour later its all melting.
