Animals

Our New Balcony
I know it might seem lame, but I am all excited about the new patio furniture we got. It is really not much, and not very fancy, but - after living here for 2 years, this will be our first summer with a nicer looking balcony. The little green set it Alexander's, and it will be nice when one of his friends visit.. they can have their snack in their chairs and table, and the mommies can stay at the other one. Yay!!
Butterfield Acres
As I had mentioned in my last "blog", Alexander and I went to Butterfield Acres - a beautiful petting zoo. He loved seeing all the animals. The chicken and the baby goats were his favorites! We didnt even get to see the Llamas and cows, but there's always next time (we got a season pass).
The video is a little long, but i know many of you (i.e. grandparents) want to see Alexander, so I figured it was ok.

I'm a blogger now I guess
So in order to be able to reach family and friends without having to maintain a website (I just plain don't have time), I will post blogs, pictures and videos here on the blogger. As nice as the website was, I have finally come to the conclusion that it is not something I am able to keep up with - Alexander just keeps me too busy.
Feel free to leave comments etc - it is always nice to hear what people think.
Summer seems to finally be here, with a wonderful 27 degrees today. Alexander and i mopped the balcony (it was DIRTY), and washed off the chairs, wagon and slide/castle, so now we are ready to spend our days outside. Tomorrow we'll be going to a petting-zoo for pony rides and visits with sheep, emu's and a variety of farm animals - I think Alexander will enjoy it, and I'll be sure to post some pictures of it tomorrow afternoon or evening.
The videos are of Wayne and Alexander playing soccer (he is REALLY good!!) and of Alexander and his little girlfriend Ava being silly and cute. Enjoy!
