I DID it!

I finished the apron, and it actually turned out super CUTE!! Definitely masculine, with a sports theme, so daddy can't get mad ;) This makes me want to take up sewing!!

Heritage Park

Today we spent the morning at Heritage Park with Carla & Emma and Skye & Nathen. Alexander insisting on bringing his stroller (the one for a stuffed animal or.. soccer ball.., not the one he goes in). The kids loved the rides, and Alexander was very happy to get to ride the shuttle bus twice, and then the train and a paddle wheel boat. He was a very happy boy.

Sewing 101

I've decided it's time to pull out the sewing machine and try to make a little apron for Alexander ( with a matching chef hat hehehe). Of course Wayne doesn't want him to have a apron, but ohwell. It will be good for when he helps me with cooking and baking - and also for pictures! Wish me luck - hopefully it will turn out cute!

C Train Adventures

So after being coped up inside for 4 days with bronchitis, Alexander suggested we go on the C-Train today. So we got our stuff together and went to the train station. This is one of Alexander's most favorite things to do ever. We ended up getting a whole train car to ourselves, and Alexander was very happily announcing things like " there's another train", "there's the bridge/tunnel /car" and "this is not our stop". We took the train a few stops down, got off, then waited on the platform to take the train back home and went to the playground. He's such a joy to be around!

Big Mess

So although he is at the grand old age of 3 (if you ask Alexander, he's 4 by the way), he still is a messy boy if there is something delicious to be had. Here is a shot of him after having a small bowl of chocolate ice cream.. He's so cute though.. chocolate covered face or not!
